Phill has worn many hats during his career, including shipping clerk, fabrication welder, real estate broker, editor, instructor, business manager, marketing associate, association marketing manager, business development VP, marketing consultant, interim executive director, and company president.

The bulk of his business experience rests on a foundation of creating and implementing effective communication strategies to help consumers, businesses, and organizations across North America navigate change and profit from emerging opportunities.

Phill is an experienced content provider/editor/designer/producer for publications, videos, web sites, conventions, meetings/events, trade shows, award programs, workshops, demonstration projects, and training initiatives; has strong written, presentation, and one-on-one communication skills; and is adept at leading and juggling multiple projects (and multiple project deadlines).

A pack rat at heart, Phill nurtures an ever-growing collection of more than 8,000 reference materials, including newsletters, newspaper and magazine clippings, seminar handouts, and digital articles (PDFs and MS-Word documents). His knowledge-management skills helped Alby Materials increase shareholder value by more than 400% between 1993 and 2000, by providing customers and prospects with timely access to technical information, marketing support, management and employee training materials, and planning and financial expertise.

Recent project: Created a series of white papers to help an international manufacturer increase web traffic and cultivate higher-quality leads from its Internet investment.

Most people don’t know: Set unofficial world’s record for marathon juggling (24 hours) as a fund raising activity for the Bay View Community Center (1983), generating more than $14,000.
